Case Counsellor Specialist
Current-Employing a variety of clinical modalities to assist clients with their needs-Conducting a comprehensive assessment of the clients' needs, strengths, and goals. This includes evaluating their physical, emotional, social, and psychological well-being.-Based on the assessment, working with clients to set SMART, realistic and achievable goals. -Collaborating with clients to develop a plan of action to achieve their goals including strategies and interventions that are tailored to the client's needs.-Providing ongoing support and intervention to clients to help them achieve their goals through regular meetings, counseling & coaching sessions, and other interventions.-Liaising with community partners, services, community colleges and academic upgrading providers to ensure that clients are enrolled in appropriate programs and are fully participating in programs.-Identifying barriers and coordinating instrumental help to assist clients with resolving functional problems of daily living, advocacy, and facilitate access to appropriate support services.-Delivering interactive workshops to deepen clients' knowledge of college planning, life skills, employability skills, and budgeting skills.-Actively responding to emergencies and provide crisis intervention in addition to maintaining a caseload.
