Underwriting of large/complex new and existing business in the London market. Including multinational business, risks with captive involvement/fronting, excess of loss, flex benefits and affinity/consumer risks.Management of the London underwriting team, including appraisals, development/training and work loads. Responsibility for P&L, GWP, retention rates, budgeting/forecasting. Oversight of broker facilities.Portfolio and profitability analysis.Product review and development.Auditing.Referral point.Developing, reviewing and implementing of underwriting stance.
