As a patient care coordinator, my primary responsibility is to coordinate with patient's families regarding their ongoing treatment process. This involves effectively communicating with the families and addressing any queries or concerns they may have. Additionally, I take on the role of educating patients and their families about the disease process. This includes explaining the nature of the illness, the treatment options available, and any potential side effects or complications. It is essential to ensure that every patient receives proper and suitable treatment throughout their hospitalization. Another important aspect of my role is to conduct educational sessions for the hospital staff. This is done to enhance their clinical knowledge and practices, enabling them to provide better care to patients.Allocation of beds to patients based on their medical needs and available resources.Patient admission and discharge process. This includes coordinating with reception, nurses and doctors to ensure a smooth transition for patients entering or leaving the hospital.
