Worked to increase prospective client response via posts on Facebook, Twitter and ColorPro’s blog, as well as creating Google ads and applying SEO practices to both ColorPro’s and clients’ websites.

Worked with a team to test and develop a custom-built mini-game designed for experimental research, examining social interaction and communication in virtual worlds as part of the SCRIBE and CYCLES research projects inside, and apart from the massively multiplayer game World of Warcraft.Participated in mixed methods data collection, including survey development, conducting interviews, and performing observational studies. Performed basic analyses of findings.

I wrote audience-centered news, reviews and features for upstart gaming publication, BeefJack.com, advancing from Volunteer Writer to Reviews Editor to US Editor in 3 months.I hired and managed writers, made and maintained industry contact, and constructed and implemented processes for online communication and content creation within BeefJack.I helped to achieve growth in BeefJack’s Alexa Ratings from a global rank of 200,000 to 45,000.I attended the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco twice, planned and attended meetings, and reported on both the material presented at the meetings and overall GDC happenings for BeefJack.
