At Elan-Polo, I was responsible for the social media marketing efforts for all company-owned brands including Crevo, Easton Footwear, Vogue Footwear, and several others. I developed strategies to increase awareness of these brands and drive customer engagement across several channels, most importantly Facebook and Instagram.

While I managed social media accounts for a number of clients, I also wrote copy for clients that matched their voice and tone; updated content on Joomla, Magento, and Drupal websites; editing video and audio for client projects; acted as assistant photography/videographer for projects.

I first started at Borders as a Loss Prevention team member, working in their North/Halsted store in Chicago, Illinois. In this position, I helped customers find books but also worked diligently to prevent product loss. This often involved identifying possible shoplifters. In December of 2011, I transferred home to the Rockford store where I began working as a Sales Associate - helping customers find books and ringing up their purchases. Worked under Pablo Korona, acting as a production assistant on set. Under his guidance, I also shot sections of an online video for Jim Julin using the Canon 5D Mark II. I also spent time editing video for him using Final Cut Pro.

As a student production assistant in the Mass Communications Dept., I worked closely with college instructors and helped students reach their academic goals. I also helped to manage the department when instructors were out of the office.
