I have taught and coached the members of my community for the past 22 years. I have learned more than I could have ever hoped. Teaching allows you to help guide young people today into the adults of tomorrow. As an educator at Republic High School I have participated in mock trial where the students learn a court case and compete against a local high school. It has always been a positive learning experience for my self and the students. At Republic we offer college in the classroom through Eastern Washington University, it allows the students to take college classes, but remain in the high school setting. I have had the honor of being on the coaching staff of multiple state participating teams. As an assistant coach we took 3rd in 2004, in football and won two state titles in wrestling in 2008-09. To watch these young students grow and mature has been a fulfilling endeavor in my coaching career.
