Responsible for team of 7 Service Desk and Systems Administrators to provide all IT related services for end users, infrastructure, network (LAN/WAN) for $500M per year revenue, 610-person 24 hr x 6 day operation, ISO 9001-certified metal material supplier company for aerospace, defense, export, ITAR and other regulated industries (e.g. NIST 800-171, CDI/CUI, etc.).Oversees all IT systems from Cloud Services (Office365, ServiceNow, Veritas Email archive, ProofPoint Email protection, Okta, etc.) to infrastructure layer (VMWare hosts, Nimble/EMC storage, customized backup, MPLS WAN, Cisco-based LAN, Palo Alto web content firewall/VPN etc.), systems layer (120+ Linux and Windows servers, LDAP, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.), data layer (MySQL, PostGRESQL, etc.), to application layer services (Windows user endpoint provisioning and maintenance (InTune, WSUS), Asterisk VoIP, etc.).Manages vendor relationships for $750K+ expenditures and contracts per year. Liaison with parent company (Reliance Steel and Aluminum Co.) IT policy and directive bodies to ensure compliance with SEC and other regulatory requirements.

Widely varied leadership, management and technical roles over 12 yr career culminating in command of a 160-person Air Force communications unit supporting US Central Command, and Special Operations Command during Operations Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq). Was liaison with senior Secretary of Defense and Air Force staff in the Pentagon, as well as Afghan government Ministry of the Interior, NATO and other entries.
