About Shawn Dutton
Nearly three years ago I started my journey in software development working for an integrator coding on Allen Bradley PLCs. From PLC's I transitioned to learning Python to support data logging and reporting tools using Inductive Automation's Ignition and SQL Server. I have spent the last 14 months working on a project in the healthcare industry using Python and PostgresSQL among other technologies to analyze medical data to determine trends in health and patient care. I have found that not only do I really enjoy developing in Python, but I enjoy the problem solving that comes with software development in general. I pride myself in being able to listen for the requirements, ask the right questions, and deliver a valuable solution to the customer. In my spare time I enjoy carpentry, and remodeling my house.
