I'm an experienced Technologist with a long history of working in the information technology and services industry. Starting back in 1999 at one80 Knowledge Systems, a small SaaS / web development company in Halifax NS.That evolved to working at Azorus Inc. a couple years later, another software startup based in Halifax, NS. There as Director of Software Engineering we received a technology innovation award from a U.S. based technology magazine for partner collaboration and end customer systems integration. Achievements in integration involved enterprise class systems including SCT Banner, Oracle/Peoplesoft, IntelliResponse and "digital ink" solutions from InkStreams. We worked with some of the top universities in the world.Since then I've been serially involved in start-ups of my own and in partnership. Always focusing on IT value and great service for customers big and small. Always on the cutting edge of tech, I now am working on changing the lives of clinicians and clients world-wide by applying virtual reality to the healthcare industry in exciting and innovative ways.Some of my strategic partnerships spanning across my years of experience include working with some big names such as Telus, Google, Samsung, Lenovo, Zoho, Radian6, SalesForce, DSM Telecom, and many others.My specialties: Software development, technical team leadership, development life cycles, release management, various frameworks including Laravel and Unity, several languages including C# and PHP, and delivering business value through IT investment.
