Directs the activities of the Materials Management Departments. Manages Linen, Receiving, Storeroom Operations and Distribution services. Assures achievement of organizational goals related to cost management, quality assurance, work process redesign and customer services processes through the use of Information technology, human, and capital resources in designated departments. Collaborates with others, as a key member of the management team, and serves as TUH's primary steward of Materials Management services

Oversees overall Supply Chain Systems and Measurement implementation, maintenance, and support functions including catalog management, documentation, and end user training and support.

Ensures that all supply exchange carts measure up to the established par-levels, both qualitatively and quantitatively, and that supply charges are accounted for in the shortest period possible. Maintains the integrity of the Storeroom inventory working closely with all levels of the Supply Chain Division to ensure the proper documentation of inventory process. Assumes responsibility for the proper and efficient operation of the department in the Manager's absence.

Efficient and effective distribution of various disposable medical supplies to critical care and medical-surgical departments. Understanding of the importance and processes of a running computerized inventory count. Resolving nursing supply concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving skills without direct supervision.

Maintaining a correct computerized inventory. Receiving shipments from Ups, FedEx, and other delivery services. Processing and placing incoming shipments into accurate bin to bin locations. Cost effective shipping via Ups online and FedEx online. Picking multiline orders quickly and correctly. Packing various medical supplies for shipment. Demonstrated ability to learn all aspects of the pick-pack-ship operation.
