Arouet Foundation is a 501c3 Arizona Nonprofit Corporation, the mission is to provide education assistance, workforce development, and job opportunities to incarcerated women, as well as ex-offenders, who are sincere about working hard to change their mindset and to become productive citizens As the Director of Program, my job is to oversee all of the foundation's programs, Transforming Our PossibiliresS (TOPS I), a program design to take a holistic approach to reintegration by preparing incarcerated woman through life skills with an emphasis on workplace readiness. A Thrilling Opportunity Promoting Success (TOPS II), which assists woman post-release with housing, transportation, workforce development and additional community resources to help them to adjust post-release. In partnership with Televerde our Televerde Endowment for New Scholars (TENS) program is to empower women who are reentering realize their life goals through higher education. The program is built upon the foundation that learning and education are the greatest equalizer. The Aroute foundation main goal is to reduce (recidivism) the number of woman returning to prison with programs that emphasize job skills, and post-release work opportunities.

As the Community Reintegration Manager with Televerde, the premier provider of business-to-business actionable market intelligence, I manage Tranforming Our Possibilities Program (TOPS). The program is designed to prepare participants for balanced community reintegration. In partnership with both community and corporate leaders, the TOPS program provides employment readiness, community resources, support, and encouragement. The nine workshops offered are resume writing, interviewing/ professionalism skills, mock interviews, building and projecting self confidence, building healthy relationships, reunification, wellness and healthy living and budgeting/finance. I also assists these women in gaining or strengthening life skills by teaching them to build effective relationships. It's a holistic approch to reintegration.
