As the sole and Senior Technical Writer for AGS, I expanded the role to include new departments not previously serviced as well as new types of documentation including Illustrated Parts Guides, Adobe Forms, Product Guides and Single Sheet Quick Start Guides. Created, maintained and standardized Owner and User Manuals, Service Manuals, Release Notes, Installation Guides, Laminated Inserts and any Ad Hoc needs from the various departments and customers. Created instructional videos and assisted in training field technicians in Atlanta and Oklahoma City. Created and maintained a project tracking system and setup access for common documents on SharePoint, Teams and local drives. Developed technical writing policy and writing standards as well as processes for publication and distribution of documentation both internal and customer facing.

Worked with field service technicians to remotely set up servers that operate the various gaming cabinets / slot machines. Built out servers for the same purpose and created SOPs and other documentation to facilitate more accuracy in the process.

As Solaris’ founding employee and with a focus on documentation and policy writing, I played an integral role in building the company from a two person operation to an industry powerhouse, creating, and managing almost every position and department in the process. Managed daily business operations, projects and processes including technical writing for all product manuals. Created and wrote company policies. Composed and administered the company wide employee handbook. Produced the largest stage lighting, audio and video equipment database in the industry.

As a founding member of ColorKey, an LED Stage Lighting Manufacturing subsidiary of Solaris, I wrote documentation for acquiring Philips Licensing, developed and serviced a dealer network of 80+ companies covering North America. Created and maintained documentation for policy, employment, dealer contacts, manuals and support for more than 200 ColorKey branded products. Developed customer experience models to reduce customer attrition to below 6% annually. Created standard operating procedures for all departments and positions.
