TOTAL Jearu project-CNRL Thickners - P-3 capital project Memorial Bridge.My position of Lead HSE Manager for Flatiron construction encompassed managing and leading the HSE team, involvement with field tours and site inspections, attending management and client meetings, and as well as scheduling, budgeting and involvement in incident investigations. Accomplishments included development and implementations of several HSE programs and campaigns.

Attended daily Contractor EHS meetings duties include safety trending, support contractor with project Element Management Program, procedures, standards and injury management system. Complete reports and spreadsheets on injury trending to Suncor Managers and Supervisors. Monitor safety systems and give support and recommendations to ensure the safety of all workers. Attended Daily Execution Meetings and give Project HSSE Reports to Management and Review our Incident Management Program. Identifying areas of non-compliance and opportunity for engagement with the workforce and setting goals to achieve a strong safety culture through compliance based safety.

Support and interpret Environmental, Health and Safety Manual to supervisors and workers. Created LCP and hazard identification programs and present this process to the manager as tool to evaluate compliance and hazard recognition this enabled management to assess areas of deficiencies and to put safety systems into place to ultimately eliminate risk to workers. Assisted colleagues on the company’s safety program and gave supported on team building and leadership. Develop and maintained a strong safety Culture by educating the workforce on the safe work procedures, standards, and practices. Attended daily toolbox/Safety meetings and addressed the workers concerns, and recorded safety concerns, set up spreadsheets, databases and schedules to ensure the successful implementation of company’s Inspections using Microsoft Office 2007. Maintained safety training records and scheduled training courses.
