I am a Project Manager with over 4 years of experience overseeing a variety of projects, including data conversions & merges, API integrations, custom scripts, and VPN setups. I proactively monitor efforts from a large team of developers, analysts, consultants, and engineers across 15+ diverse projects with unique scopes and budgets. With clients, I lead status meetings, create customized project timelines, and manage project scope & budget. Additionally, I serve as a Team Lead, mentoring junior project managers, creating documentation, and supporting our sales organization.Out of college, I pursued farming, volunteering full-time and living onsite at farms in the Caribbean and Asia during summer breaks. While I loved the adventurous spirit of farming, my passion for helping others led me to transition into teaching. My professional career began as an English teacher on Jeju Island in South Korea, where I taught middle school students with limited language proficiency and navigated different cultural customs. This experience taught me to embrace uncertainty, a lesson that guides my corporate life today. I firmly believe there is no problem we cannot solve with the right attitude and teamwork.After a year of teaching, I returned to the USA and dedicated myself to learning SQL and Python, completing over 200 class hours and earning a Data Science Certificate from Springboard. Armed with this certification, I joined Vertafore to lead data-driven projects as a project manager.From my early days as a farmer to my current role as a team lead, I take pride in my adventurous spirit and enjoy enriching my life with new experiences that expand my knowledge and strengthen my relationships with those around me.
