I create and develop fresh new product ideas for open innovation companies in a variety of industries and help bring them to market. While I have an affinity for the residential construction and tool industries, I welcome the opportunity to develop or improve products in any industry.I've always loved building things, starting with Legos on the living room floor and eventually our current house in Alaska. My path from a construction laborer during summers in high school, to a construction engineering degree from Iowa State University (GO CYCLONES!), to 20 years in the United States Air Force as a project manager has resulted in my passion for construction, particularly residential construction.I have a knack for figuring things out and finding solutions to problems. I appreciate the significance of design and have an eye for detail, and I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist. With my inquisitive nature, I enjoy learning new skills and exploring new concepts and ideas. My hands-on experience and interests, along with my "can do" attitude and problem solving skills, have led me to pursue a new venture in product development. My desire is to use the gifts I've been given and inventRight training to come up with creative solutions to life's little annoyances and fresh products to help bring joy to people's lives.
