Even as a kid I always had a profound fascination with supply chain, wondering “how did all those toys get to my local toy store” and “where did all of the components come from”. It wasn’t until after I spent eight years in the military seeing firsthand how the logistics landscape impacts, not only building a society, but also ensuring a society’s continued economic growth and existence. And I love the fact that C.H. Robinson gives me the opportunity to not only answer my childhood questions, but also play a role in helping to design supply chain solutions for companies contributing to our economic livelihood as a society. Over the last decade I’ve worked closely with clients and leadership on account vision, growth strategy and performance expectations. I have a proven track record of being able to think critically and strategically, innovatively selling Robinson’s solutions and technology advantages that accomplishes the business goals of our clients (managing spend, driving cost savings, streamlining business processes, establishing analytics and performance metrics, etc). My role as a business development manager is to identify and establish a business case for change thru quantitative and qualitative analysis for our clients, and introduce technology to deliver a cohesive transportation strategy.
