In accordance with the elements of competence established for Boys and Girls Club executives,the Executive Director is responsible for managing the strategic planning and operation of the Club, in support of organizational mission and goals. Collaborates with the Board of Directors in developing organizational goals, attaining/allocating resources, and establishing policies. Provides direction to staff in carrying out the key roles assigned to them. Also in my primary functions were to raise and operate a budget of $170,000 each year. Grant writing, public relations, marketing and special fundraising events.

Reports directly to the Executive Director. Oversees the operations of 3 club units and has a staff of 14. Orders all program equipment ant supplies. Oversees implementation of Boys & Girls Clubs of America programming. Responsible for correspondence and reports concerning programming with the B&GC of America. Attends training conferences on behalf of organization.

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of one unit. Oversees 4 staff members. Responsible for staff conducting all components of programming. Responsible for reports to Executive Director. Oversees all sporting events and outings. Responsible for maintenance on equipment and facility.

Duties include planning, organizing and scheduling all recreational activities; monitor activities; enforce safety regulations. Receive and/or prepare reports, forms, sign-up sheets, score sheets, applications, and invoices; process records, files and/ or distribute/submit to appropriate personnel. Monitor maintenance of facilities and equipment; clean and maintain facilities and grounds. Monitor availability of recreation equipment and supplies; issue and collect equipment; order and stock equipment and supplies. Answer telephones and respond to questions or complaints from participants and the general public. Serve as mediator to resolve problems with participants/spectators; administer first aid in the event of injury; secure medical or law enforcement personnel as need. Build relationships with participants; may coach or assist in coaching youth teams; supervise part-time employees, volunteers, and seasonal employees; secure sports officials, score keepers, coaches, and related personnel. Prepare and write grants to improve parks and facilities.
