I am an artist, and engineer, an inventor and a philosopher. I am using my background in Mechanical Engineering to inform my future in agricultural ecology through the use of system design, geodesic geometry and permaculture principles. Ongoing projects include the gradual construction of a 1/3 Acre Ecological Play Park in the Capay Valley of California. This site combines play with team and self building activities such as: tactical water sports, Horse-play learning sessions, obstacle courses and what we like to call NinjaGames. PresidentCalpoly Hydrogen Energy Club Jan 2008 - Jun 2009As president of the Hydrogen Energy Club, I led a team of student engineers to design and implement a fuel cell power system for a golf cart. This required extensive knowledge of the small fuel cell marketplace, off-the-shelf design, and metal fabrication. My team and I managed to acquire over $40,000 of school-supported funding to complete this project, which, after I graduated became a Multi-disciplinary Senior Project. While a member of this club, I designed multiple flyers, stickers, and the website, and gave several presentations addressing the future of hydrogen in this country.
