Co-founding this furniture (and other) company with an architect-friend with the goal of closing waste-streams in a value-added way. We are currently building high-end, handcrafted end-tables from recycled wine-barrels and plan on working our way up to chairs and other furniture.

I've been working with the leaders of the Bay Area Community Exchange Timebank to create a supplemental economy for services, cowork, skillsharing, and favor-exchange. Community outreach, ideation, organization, and inspiration have been my major contributions.I hope to see this organization blossom into its role as a solid base for money-less transactions in the Bay.Currently, I am acting in an informal role as promoter, facilitator, and as an example-user.

Since June of last year, I have been working with the wonderful members of Motive Collective to form an incubator and example of what a house in Oakland can be. Together, we are following a holistic approach to urban-sustainability, combining elements of free-collaboration, community outreach, skillsharing, and sustainable architecture while attempting to utilize waste-stream resources.I have led over 10 urban-sustainability related projects, and collaborated on many more. These include:-worm composter-layered compost-green house from 95% recycled materials-chicken-egg production-food share agreement

As a Specialist in the Reliability group, I was responsible for performing a variety of tests, including cyclic fatigue testing using Accretech Probers. I was also largely responsible for troubleshooting and repair on several of our test systems.

Own multiple Wafer Probers, design and implement test plans, establish specifications for product performance, team leader for several Failure Analysis taskforces, FMEA, ongoing reliability monitoring (ORM) using statistical process control (SPC)

- Produce and perform comprehensive reliability test plans for our products.- Work with process engineers to develop accurate FMEA for each technology- Use LabVIEW and other technologies to constantly improve test efficiency and accuracy

Developed LabVIEW automation for experimental Chemical Vapor Deposition system, including the ability to write and store time/state-based recipes, control all aspects of the system:pressure, temperature, and gas flow rates, and generate Excel-based reports matching system data with Residual Gas Analysis. Developed statistical process control tracking of CVD growth variables.

As president of the Hydrogen Energy Club, I led a team of student engineers to design and implement a fuel cell power system for a golf cart. This required extensive knowledge of the small fuel cell marketplace, off-the-shelf design, and metal fabrication. My team and I managed to acquire over $40,000 of school-supported funding to complete this project, which, after I graduated became a Multi-disciplinary Senior Project. While a member of this club, I designed multiple flyers, stickers, and the website, and gave several presentations addressing the future of hydrogen in this country.
