Actively involved in design process from advanced planning phase to construction administration for numerous municipal, state and federal projects. Design responsibilities included determining cooling and heating loads, sizing and selecting major HVAC equipment and routing new ductwork and piping layouts; Reviewed shop drawing submittals for HVAC systems to ensure proposed equipment and materials met project requirements; Commissioned building HVAC equipment and energy management systems for new and existing elementary schools as well as a new university classroom building; Conducted field surveys to evaluate existing conditions of mechanical systems and determine possible design challenges of building renovation projects; Created and assembled mechanical construction documents for various projects by drafting HVAC systems and all associated details, schedules and diagrams with software programs such as Autodesk MEP and Revit MEP.

Developed lighting and power system plans for existing hospital renovation project by performing lighting and electrical load calculations, laying out lighting fixtures, laying out power distribution, sizing and selecting lighting/power equipment, and drafting the electrical systems in Design Gear (AutoCAD); Conducted field surveys to evaluate existing conditions of electrical systems and verify accuracy of existing building electrical plans.
