On a typical day, our system processes hundreds of GBs of genomic data and performs thousands of hours of computation in order to analyze genomic structures and train machine learning models. We use a variety of house-built custom analysis software for this, mainly derived from machine learning/deep learning and graph theory, and use many standard bioinformatics tools as well. While I am in charge of all software development, data science, and bioinformatics, as with any startup founder, I do a little bit of everything - business planning, financial modeling, fundraising, negotiating, biz dev, recruiting, etc.
