I am an Educational Leader, Innovative Thinker, and Student Advocate with a broad range of experiences across multiple learning and development disciplines. I am adept at assessing student capabilities and needs and developing programs to close gaps and ensure academic success. My methodology is to leverage data to develop programs to advance both institutional and individual objectives. My peers consider me an effective leader, strong communicator and lifelong learner.When asked to describe my values, I have to say that I live with purpose and mission in mind. My actions and words align with these values, and I am always asking myself what is best for the kids? I am a student-first thinker, a fierce advocate for the students’ voice, approachable and skilled at compassionately mentoring students.My focus is always on Systems Improvement. I enter a school system to produce tangible outcomes and create an environment in which all students can succeed. I love working with students, helping them achieve their goals and opening doors that appear closed. I use data to evaluate student achievement to change systems and policies that create inequities. My management style involves mentoring staff so they can be the best version of themselves.Some of my Significant Achievements include:• Using data to build a case that Math Placement Practices were flawed and lead to inequitable outcomes. Guiding staff to increase student growth opportunities, accelerating math levels for all students and providing support to teachers in differentiating learning.• Managing the collaboration across stakeholders to implement safe COVID protocols for Hybrid Learning. • Implemented the AVID program schoolwide for 6-12 grade students at a Public Options School.
