Working at Marquis was an excellent summer position, because the horse races run from late May to the first weekend in September. I assisted inventory receiving and distribution around the building, restaurant table setup (place settings, menus, water pitchers), expediting of food, host duties, including telephone and in-person reservations, showed patrons.
