In the over three years I spent in Germany supporting U.S. Department of Defense customers, I built a reputation for flexibility and adaptability by pivoting from one technology stack to another in short time spans to drive these customers forward. This approach was necessary as I was the only Microsoft resource in theater with the clearance to work with these specific customers.As an example, I was able to design and implement an enterprise user state virtualization solution and assist with the migration of over 15,000 users from Windows XP to Windows 7 using USMT and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) within several weeks and with no former knowledge of SCCM. This action alone drove the growth of Microsoft Services contracts with this combatant command.

As one of only two PFEs in the customer space, pioneered premier delivery opportunities and drove contract growth. As our presence grew, mentored and trained new PFEs in all aspects of customer delivery. During my time with the Maryland Air National Guard as a traditional reservist, I had the opportunity to lead several IT projects as both a traditional military supervisor and as a technical leader because of my civilian experience and knowledge. These projects ranged from implementing an enterprise records management system for the entire 175th Wing to developing innovative solutions for Windows 10 deployment that were in turn adopted by the Microsoft team assisting the U.S. Air Force in this world-wide effort.
