Optum Rx - Health System Segment – Vice President Sales 2015-2024 • Responsible for $200m revenue and $2m margin annual goal selling pharmacy benefit management and administration services to health system employee plans. • Managed a team of subject matter experts to develop and deliver a proposal that differentiates Optum Rx while meeting stringent timelines and due dates. • Developed an integrated solution that allows the health system to deploy their own assets and resources within a typical PBM offering.• Assembled, led and orchestrated team to deliver finalist presentations to the C-suite. • Oversaw implementation project plan to assure alignment of sales process commitments. • Extensive knowledge of health system GPO, procurement and 340b programs, including value add integration.• Understanding of enterprise Electronic Medical Record systems and their synchronization to the PBM solution. • Created private-label PBM solutions for health systems to deploy utilizing their own pharmacies and assets, while leveraging the local brand presence. • Required to develop and close UHG enterprise-wide solutions that integrated PBM, medical administration and UHC payer/provider partnership centered around Value Based Care contracts. • Partnered with all Optum business units to develop solutions that incorporated data analytics, provider services and wellness.• FY ’24 sold $460m revenue / 230% attainment to goal.• Closed $2b+ in revenue and $20m in margin consisting of 20+ health systems.• Averaged 135% annual attainment to goal.• Altus sales award recognizing top sales individuals across all Optum; 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019 & 2022.
