I am an experienced finance executive, general manager, commercial advisor, project leader and company director, with a particular focus on regulated and government businesses, and major infrastructure projects. I have extensive experience with organisational and team leadership, board and government relationships, strategic and business planning, operational management, development and delivery of complex capital projects, contractual structuring, and commercial negotiations. My sector experience spans energy; water; waste; transport; community assets; health and social housing. In recent years I have had a strong focus on the energy transition (offshore wind, hydrogen, pumped hydro energy storage and battery storage), water projects and resource recovery, as well as social infrastructure My previous experience includes Chief Financial Officer and General Manager roles, being a Director at both PwC and KPMG, and being Project Director of a number of major state government projects. I have advised federal, state and local governments (in Australia and overseas), private and listed companies, and not-for-profits and worked on industry reforms, public private partnerships, trade sales, financings and private equity. I have experience with financial and commercial analysis, capital project procurements, business cases, commercial structuring, transaction advisory and contract negotiations. I hold a Graduate Diploma in Applied Investment and Finance, a Bachelor of Business, am a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia. Earlier experience includes auditing, accounting, tax and general business advisory. I have lived and worked and lived in Australia, London UK, and Washington D.C., USA. I have held board and treasurer positions with Odyssey House Victoria, Eltham College of Education and Habitat for Humanity, and also been a director / committee member of Northern Melbourne Regional Development Australia, Yarra Ranges Regional Marketing and other organisations.
