Communications, marketing, website management, and scheduling for an art centre and studio offering more that 40 classes weekly throughout the year. We run workshops and camps for kids too!

I write articles, reviews, handbooks, proposals, speeches, letters, grant applications, and other copy for clients. I edit all of the above, as well as, providing services to graduate students in various disciplines and to writers of fiction. I do all types of editing from proofing to substantive editing.

I write two quarterly columns for the Deer Lodge Foundation's newsletter "Life.Times". The first is a fitness column for the healthy aging body that focuses on simple ways to integrate balance, strength, endurance, and mobility exercises into your daily routine and why it is critical for the older adult to do so. The second is a nutrition column that focuses on healthy eating for everyone and the nutritional needs of older adults in particular and having a balanced, shame-free relationship with food and with your body. I also write spec pieces for each edition. I write under the following names: Shawna Culleton, Victoria Beechum, Eugene Mykes and Lindsay Plischke.

I teach "Customer Service and Sales" and "Business Communications" in a few Continuing Education programs.

Research grants, sponsorships and other funding opportunities for AAEM.Review website and make recommendations to develop and improve brand messages.Facilitate a workshop to develop a case for support to strengthen future communication strategies, media relations, and grant applications.Design a multi-tiered sponsorship plan for AAEM events.

Coordinate all Bike Week activities and events. Create and oversee all communications and marketing, with input from board members. Coordinate and track all media leading up to and during Bike Week. Work in close cooperation with a small staff and key board members to coordinate all volunteers and resources for a weeklong celebration with over 50 events.

Delivered presentations to the general public to educate them about climate change science and solutions. Delivered presentations and provided assistance to Manitoba schools, and organized conferences for Manitoba high schools.Organized and delivered community awareness workshops and projects. Researched and generated materials to assist communities in climate-friendly initiatives. Developed a social media presence and created gripping content.
