During my three month contract at AirVM I worked on the marketing team and provided any design material needed. I made illustrations for promotional videos and built them in VideoScribe, made layouts and brochures, updated the website using Wordpress, and provided any visuals needed to the company. I also re-branded a company within the company called AirVM Cloud. They were branded with the same colours as AirVM and they didn't have their own logo. My job was to give them a new look to seperate them from the rest of the company by giving them their own logo and colours, their own brochures and theme and redesigning their website.- Branding- Illustration- Print- Web (using Wordpress)- Video (using VideoScribe)

- Customer service - helping customers find clothes, understand colour combinations and help them look fabulous- Photography - I took photos of clothing and products for the company's e-commerce website as well as post photos and promotional material on Facebook and Instagram.- Packaging and logo design - I helped brand the owners personal line of soap and beauty products.

In my last year of Graphic Design at Algonquin College I did a 6 week internship at Ottawa Public Health. I was given the opportunity to design posters, infographs, business cards and various other printed products for the city.I worked with a dietitian student making educational handouts that were bilingual and had illustrations to help the public understand how to choose and buy grains.I also had the opportunity to work on the design for the Ottawa Market Mobile. The Market Mobile originally was an OC Transpo bus that drove in to low income communities and offers produce at a discounted price. The 2015 Market Mobile was a Trailer which gave me the opportunity to create a large trailer wrap for their new Market Mobile.Although my internship wasn’t long enough for me to redesign the logo, I had a big role in designing the new look for 2015 by designing everything from business cards to trailer wraps.- Illustration- Print

My goal while working at Wallack's was to learn everything I possibly could about art supplies and become a better artist. Everyday I passed on my artistic knowledge to beginners, people just looking for advice and had wonderful conversations about art with other artists. I sold art supplies, professional writing instruments, supervised and trained other employees.
