ALL ABOUT ME: I am a happy, positive, energetic people person. Most people tell me I am a memorable person and fun to be around. I enjoy creating environments where people find it easy to talk. I enjoy initiating and participating in conversations that are easy yet effective. Building relationships and having energetic conversations are key to helping me achieve success. HOW I GOT HERE: In 2016 I had decided to leave Scotiabank to join the City of Fort Saskatchewan for a brand-new position titled Finance Customer Care Coordinator. The position was new, but I had performed with amazing results and received two back to back excellent performance reviews to show that. After a little over 2 years, the city did a restructure due to budget constraints and my position was eliminated. After applying for a few positions, I realized that I needed a change. I had decided to take the Medical Administration Certificate with MacEwan University. Combining this certificate with my business degree and work experience has allowed me to seek out positions that I am excited about. I have an outgoing personality and love working with people but also need an environment where I can continue to learn, grow, and be challenged. SKILL SET AND PROCESS: I have always set career goals for myself. As a self-motivator, I challenged myself to be a high-performance employee. Strategic thinking and use of my network have helped me achieve superior ratings in annual performance reviews. I have the ability to adapt to change in a rapidly changing business environment and still be able to deliver successful results with a positive attitude. I am combining 20 years of sales, financial advising, customer service, and management skills the medical terminology, pharmacology, diagnostic imaging courses through the medical office administration program at MacEwan University. This upgrade of skill set will enable me to kick-start an exciting career as a pharmaceutical sales representative. CAREER GOALS: I have spent many years building relationships and improving customer service. In doing so I am looking to begin a career educating individuals within the healthcare industry and how to improve the lives of their patients. Caring for the health and well being of Canadians and using my skillset and experience in the banking industry is what will drive me to be successful in this role.
