As part of the senior leadership team, I led Housing Assistance’s strategic planning process as well as many of the resulting major initiatives in regional advocacy and collaboration; integrated marketing; and partner, funder, media and legislative delegation relationships. In building the strategic plan, I led the agency's first inclusive, all staff anonymous engagement survey and I led the subsequent facilitated discussions with departmental managers and staff targeting areas for improvement. The strategic plan directly supported our agency's successful efforts to secure $3.25 Million in ARPA funding for proposed initiatives. In three years at the agency, I led a thorough brand update and increased awareness campaigns that have supported increased fundraising success and enhanced regional recognition of the agency as a center of excellence.

Cape Cod

As Director of Marketing and Strategic Initiatives, I direct the organization’s marketing, advertising, and media relations efforts, as well as coordinate with community groups, advocacy and legislative affairs staff to ensure Housing Assistance’s impact across the region. I'm committed to Housing Assistance’s mission to develop more housing opportunities for our year-round residents, and to ensuring that all of us have a safe, stable home and the chance to contribute to a thriving community.

This period of time included nine months as Chief Marketing and Development Officer at Cape Cod Child Development Program, the local Head Start and Early Intervention program operator. Due to longstanding challenges, my position ended and the agency went into receivership. However, during my short time there we were able to establish new funding streams that supported improvements to playgrounds and classroom environments that continued to have positive impact on the children under the new operating agency. After that engagement I became a consultant working with organizations such as Humane Society US and Housing Assistance Corporation on campaigns, grant writing and grants strategy.
