I am an experienced educator with experience teaching at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, and I believe that personal relationships are at the heart of education. I am passionate about helping students to identify their own strengths and interests and providing them with opportunities to explore their passions. I believe that access to educational technology is critical for differentiating instruction and providing students with opportunities to take ownership of their own learning. While teaching elementary school, I was fascinated with the ways in which integrating technology facilitates teaching and learning so I decided to pursue a Master's degree in instructional technology. I went on to become an instructional technology specialist at Sharon Middle School. While teaching in Sharon, I studied educational leadership. For the past eight years, I have served as the Director of Instructional Technology and Media Services in Shrewsbury. In this role, I have managed the instructional side of the roll-out of 1:1 technology to K-12 students, providing professional development to teachers and supporting students. I manage the library media centers at our 9 schools, and I oversee the technology and business teachers at the high school level.
