These duties included but were not limited to, payroll, payroll taxes for 6 states, deductions, garnishments, loans, setting up and maintaining direct deposits, insurance, inter-company transfers, General Ledger, trending reports, and expenses, as well as other office related duties. • Starting with Lifeguard I was immediately responsible for over $750,000 bi-weekly payroll for over 650 employees in 17 locations across the Southeast.• After 3 months, my duties were expanded to include Creating P&L Reports and assisting with its’ analyzation. Analyzed all insurance invoices for disclosure of changes or deficiencies. Balancing of corporate accounts, garnishments, and insurance.• Lifeguard sent me to training on Ultipro which enabled me to locate and correct GL/Ultipro/Quickbooks set up errors (suspense account-Taxes). I was also able to set up various codes in Ultipro to increase efficiency and reduce errors including new PTO accrual and the tracking of PTO balances. This training has since proven to be very valuable moving forward in my career. • In my role for Accounts Payable I updated payroll taxes for each state, garnishments maintenance, inter-company transfers, insurance benefits as well as finding opportunities to improve the insurance provided, and all expenses and expense reporting.
