I am a highly skilled RN (OBED Triage RNC-OB) with 23 years of experience working alongside passionate caregivers, providing patient-first healthcare, and caring solely for our pregnant patients.I believe that being a healthcare professional is more than just a well-paid job or a career with high demand. It's about witnessing the miracle of life and advocating for mothers and their babies. That's exactly why I chose this path, and even now, that remains my primary motivation for continuing in this sometimes mentally challenging and physically demanding profession. My unwavering passion for EBOD has been the driving force behind my career for 23 years. Yet, I am faced with a crucial decision - whether to explore alternative avenues or not. As much as I adore EBOD, the physical and mental challenges that come with it are becoming more demanding by the day. Therefore, to ensure I can continue to perform at my best, I must consider other options.Nursing has always been a passion of mine, and my commitment to the profession has only grown stronger over the past 23 years. Through years of experience, I have developed a wide range of skills that have been tested and expanded through various treatment variations, complications, and interventions related to pregnancy. These skills are not only numerous but vital and would be a valuable addition to traditional Family Practices and Urgent Care Centers. In fact, many would consider them a specialty. As a Registered Nurse, I am dedicated to providing the best care possible, and I am confident that my skills and experience make me a valuable asset to any healthcare team.As a Nurse, I am grateful for the ability to bring understanding and peace to patients during what can be a confusing or challenging time. My role also allows me to empower patients and their families with knowledge, which can be incredibly rewarding. One-on-one interactions with patients, while they are ill, are the most fulfilling part of my job, as working to heal them is an experience that is both humbling and gratifying. Patients and nurses often develop a more trusting bond, as nurses spend more time with patients than their doctors. I am honored to be a part of this important relationship.
