Experience: "I walk in the learner's shoes." I am a designer with a passion for truly understanding what learner interaction is. With 21 years in the learning and development field I embrace the learning processes and how to engage the learner. I am a Curriculum Designer for Centene where I support the Talent and Development team with designs for Onboarding, Process Training, and Workplace Culture and Communication Courses. How is this Done?I use ADDIE as the backbone for my process. Though it is tough for me to choose my favorite portion of ADDIE, if asked it would be analyze and design. I design learning courses with Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, PowerPoint, Vyond, 7Taps, and Camtasia. I embrace the power of assessments and will use assessments to drive the design of the course. With the use of Qualtrics surveys, I can monitor and track learner progress. I believe that evaluation is a vital piece of training where I can focus on the positive effects of learning design and determine additional steps for learners. Current Projects: *SharePoint Micro Learning; the start-up view of a SharePoint site is a landing page. I am using this landing page to embed hotspots that interact with the learner and guide them through building and designing their own SharePoint site. *Building an assessment library: I am creating micro-lessons on assessment dos and don’ts. This is going into an assessment library, along with a list of question types and examples of when to use each question.Projects Worked On: *Developed a workflow for projects to be monitored by both the designing team and the SME. *Designed and developed Train the Trainer. Monthly Lunch and Learns where learning methodologies, design principles, and tricks of the trade are shared. Providing support via an infographic. Tools used: Powerpoint, Storyline, Prezi, Camtasia, and Canva. *Created and designed a summer series focusing on soft skills in the workplace. Tools used: Powerpoint, Articulate Storyline, Vyond, Slido, and Camtasia. My Passion: ❤️ Learning is my passion! I enjoy creating learning to help engage, enhance, and influence learner’s actions. I thrive on tasks that require a deep dive into discovering and advancing my skill set. My devotion to researching instructional modalities invites innovative ways for learning design and sharing it with others. My Enjoyment: ☀️ I enjoy adventures in traveling.
