Worked as a Legal Intern for Ms. Sanduni Wickremasinghe (Legal Consultant, Member of the Data Protection Law Drafting Committee, Information Privacy Professional, FIP, CIPM, CIPP/E) in researching and preparing written content relating to the subject of law and digital technologies - including privacy law, data protection law, cyber security and IT law.

• Successfully completed the firm's 'Annual Internship Programme' and was selected to continue as a Legal Assistant of the firm.• Was exposed to multiple areas of corporate legal practice, including but not limited to- corporate shareholding agreements, incorporation of companies, corporate litigation of various types including arbitration, etc.• Engaged in legal research for matters regarding land related litigation and for election law related legal opinions.• Obtained exposure in drafting Letters of Demand, Notices of Dishonour, plaints and other supporting documents as required by the Court.• Corresponded with various third parties and participated in client consultations.

• Conducted legal research for the journal articles published by Prof. Indira Nanayakkara, the former Dean at the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo.• Special focus of the research related to Company Law, especially in relation to money laundering, the Solvency Test, Corporate Governance in the banking sector, creditors, duties of directors, etc.
