Assist in management of organization which includes the following duties: develop and manage the annual membership recruitment campaign & collect member dues; maintain membership database; manage organization finances; assist with planning and managing OWP’s annual meeting; manage website; & file required tax forms and reports.

Build teacher capacity by working directly with teaching staff to include research-based best practices in the classroom; conduct cognitive coaching sessions with staff members; plan and coordinate site-based staff development trainings as well as district-wide Professional Growth Opportunities.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

Plan, coordinate and oversee the annual conference for all Family & Consumer Science teachers, educators and professionals in the state of Minnesota.

Designed and implemented instruction an alternative high school; curriculum taught includes Skills for Success, Teen Parenting, Child Development, Consumer Smarts, Interpersonal Relationships, and Interior Design; secured foundation funding for new Teen Parenting initiatives; assist with planning staff development days.

Supervised 30 staff and 100 volunteer tour guides; developed and coordinated new employee training; served on event committees; and, coordinated group visits of community organizations and students.
