Managed the health system’s CON program as administered by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board (HFSRB), a state government agency that regulates construction and modification projects for health care facilities while continuing to serve as the lead strategy analytics resource for the health system. Saved thousands of dollars in legal costs and potentially in avoiding fines from the state government related to the CON program by engaging internal staff and state government staff on projects and regulatory requirements.Successfully led efforts to obtain CON approval for a $3M ambulatory surgery center, and also managed permit requirements for a $156M outpatient center. Coordinated strategic plans that led to identification of key business opportunities and construction of three new ambulatory surgical offices and medical office buildings resulting in additions to system’s portfolio valued at $324M.

Served as the corporate business planning resource to provide competitive information through various data sources, publications, articles and reports relevant to market planning. Collaborated with the Senior Vice-President of Business Development in creating business plans and proformas including market and financial data to justify capital projects and expansion opportunities.

Managed the system’s market research function, including perception and image studies, departmental employee satisfaction survey and customer service survey. Fulfilled ad-hoc market planning information, and provided data interpretation to marketing directors.

Managed employee satisfaction survey data for clients’ worldwide, collected employee data and tabulated the results using Quantum, SAS, SPSS and Quanvert. Assisted statisticians with data modeling.

Provided consumer qualitative and quantitative analysis for an array of products and services. Consulted on monthly and annual reports including advertising and brand tracking studies and special event evaluations. Tabulated statistics from SPSS files into reports and data tables for the Market Research department and performed regression and other statistical analysis.
