Government relations and strategic communications for biological recycling start-up with the mission to eliminate the world's plastic waste.Founded in 2021, Protein Evolution uses a combination of chemistry and biotechnology to break down polyester waste into the raw materials of good-as-new polyester products. By diverting landfill-bound materials into the company’s biological recycling process, Protein Evolution hopes to lead the transition to a lower carbon, more circular economy. Based in New Haven, Conn., Protein Evolution has a partnership with ESPCI Paris and 4Catalyzer, a life sciences accelerator founded by Dr. Jonathan Rothberg, a world-renowned scientist, entrepreneur and National Medal of Technology and Innovation recipient, dedicated to making a global impact through bold innovations in engineering, machine learning, and biotech.

Detect was founded in 2020 by Dr. Jonathan Rothberg in response to the pandemic. Detect built and brought-to-market a PCR-quality home Covid-19 test in less than 18 months. Partnering with NIH RADx and BARDA on R&D and manufacturing scale-up. Detect is currently developing a second-generation home testing platform that will identify multiple types of infections and provide lab-accurate health results in comfort of your home.
