Working on the Retube and Feeder Replacement project at Darlington Nuclear Power Plant. My role is to inspect feeder tubes and instrumentation tubing to ensure they meet Can Atom, OPG and TSSA quality standards.¥ Inspecting tube fit ups, welds and newly installed equipment to rigorous standards.¥ Working in a radiation contaminated area, wearing proper RPPE and following proper procedures. ¥ Filing all associated inspection forms, updating CWPs, ITP and job completion boards.¥ Inspection of impulse and venturi instrumentation tubing, updating weld logs, weld maps as well as completing FME paper work and weld reports. ¥ Working with the client and Can Atom oversite performing borescope inspections of feeder tubes to ensure no Foreign Material is present.

Fabricate and install various structural steel components in a steel mill setting. Repair structural steel members and Pressure and Process Piping to CWB and TSSA Standards. Attending scheduled shutdowns and following proper safe work and lock out procedures prior to starting the shutdown repair task. Working in the current department known as Building Structure Inspection Repair.

Help run and operate family welding and fabrication business. • Carry out welding in the field and in our fabrication shop. Repairing farm equipment, trailers, and boats. Fabrication of floating docks, structural steel and many other projects.• Using SMAW & GTAW to repair and fabricate projects to client’s needs and standards.

• Fit structural steel members including beams, deck plates and structural supports.• Use proper rigging equipment and techniques to move steel into place safely.• Carried out proper welding procedures on a ship setting.• Install various components to a ships piping systems• Prepare and install pumps, electric motors, gear boxes and conveyer belt parts

• Carrying out safe welding procedures in an oil & gas setting. Welding various components with the aid of blueprints and verbal instructions.• Fit and weld structural components such as I beams, girders, gussets to Quality Control Standards.• Follow proper welding procedures including proper pre & post heat temperatures, welding electrode-tracking sheets and maintain proper welding electrode temperatures.
