My initial responsibilities were working on solution & process engineering in support of the Sales Team (HubSpot & Confluence). I started assuming SecOps and DevOps responsibilities as business needs grew - implementing Drata's SOC 2 security management framework in preparation for SOC 2 compliance audits. Responsible for authoring the initial security policies, working with relevant department heads for policy approvals, and driving adoption throughout the organization. I also worked closely with DevOps to remediate deficiencies in our AWS environment configuration(s) in accordance with AWS Well-Architected Framework, bringing them into alignment with AWS best practices - laying the groundwork for full SOC 2 controls implementation. I also moved highly customized patient care plans from our AWS staging environment into the Prod environment for our Ayva product with Internal.io, gradually becoming the primary developer & manager of that tool. My DevOps experience combined with the growth trends of the Ayva product made evident the need for a more controlled software release process. I authored the new release process and drove SDLC improvements that resulted in a bi-weekly release cadence with a significant increase in our release software quality. We successfully implemented that process in Jira, with integrations back to our Git repository. I assumed the newly created role of Software Release Manager during that process. Developed basic KPIs and created automated reports for our senior leadership - providing analysis of our core DevOps processes (SharePoint/Excel/PowerBI).

AT&T Integrated Cloud Computing Capacity Manager for all of AT&T's domestic Software Defined Network development & testing labs. Translated business needs into data science solutions. Lead the creation and management of AIC Labs Capacity telemetry data solutions. Designed & managed the API builds and data collection apparatus (ETL) for all the zones, from disparate sources in various layers of the OpenStack framework as well as outside sources. Designed DB Schemas for time series data collection and reporting. Routinely wrangling large datasets – structured and unstructured, building analytics packages with interactive reports and/or custom spreadsheets (Advanced PowerBI/Power Query/DAX skillset). Expert at data wrangling, relationship modeling & mapping skills. Experienced with - and AT&T University certifications in R programming, Python, statistical analysis of structured & unstructured data. Our cloud-computing environments utilized OpenStack to support our virtual environment/hypervisor and Contrail within our overlay, leveraging multiple vendors for our TOR/Storage/Servers & Leaf/Spine underlay infrastructure. Created data models and logic that performed complex operational capacity planning and tenant (Client) demand forecasting for numerous clients types (Mobility, Wireline, Uverse, ECOMP, Orchestration, etc.) with diverse environment requirements for various lab types (E.g. DCP, LCP, Network Cloud Harbor, Cruiser variants, Medium variants Kubernetes, etc.). Derived optimal cloud node specs through analysis of historical and forecasted client demand trends with historical tenant utilization rates. Evolved and augmented (Automated) the nascent client onboarding process to provide higher data utility/fidelity for the forecasting models.

Principal USOP Product Manager – Conceived, designed and managed the highly successful performance (I.e. Fault) monitoring product. This tool was one of the first in AT&T to leverage an early version of machine learning, involving complex data analysis algorithm(s). Lead, designed and guided the development of the ETL for USOP. I designed and helped develop new alarm thresholding and suppression logic for this tool. I built maintained key relationships within the network ops and customer care user communities that enabled us to build challenging interfaces to key, organizationally isolated systems. I maintained those strategic relationships across various project teams, Operations, CARE, LABs & IT. Facilitated and managed interactions between planning organization and the various Operations, CARE, Labs/Research and IT teams. Overcame many setbacks and restarts of the USOP program, while continuing to push that project forward. Lead the efforts to define the benefits of new project features/applications in the MTRG Time-to-market approach (I.e. Accelerated prototyping, incubation & deployment). Produced high-quality slides and presentations for senior leadership status meetings/reviews, and lead regular stakeholder meetings regarding requirements, use cases, training and support documentation. Created training materials and conducted initial training classes (USOP and other tooling prototypes). Defined UAT testing packages, managed testing process, and analyzed testing/deployment results. Acted as the 'conduit' between the planning team and the customers. Vetted additional projects/new tooling requests for strategic and business value as part of managing responsibilities with the Mobility Tooling Roadmap & Governance group. Extensive Agile experience managing many of our first Agile projects within the organization (Internal Agile Bootcamp & certifications).

Designed and led National Disaster Recovery solutions implementation.

Designed, Installed, configured/clustered, and maintained Windows 9x, NT, 2000, and XP operating systems. (100+ Servers) Provided Tier 3 Applications support for internal customers' applications.Identified Regional and Datacenter Network Fabric deficiencies; Designed an Enterprise core datacenter network fabric (High Availability, scalable, greatly enhanced performance, and increased capacity [Initial density ~800 ports - Passport 8600s and Baystack Gig switches (edge)]. Identified flaws in my Datacenter’s power subsystems that limited fault tolerance. Designed a solution that better utilized the building’s available power subsystem resources. My design was implemented and effectively teamed all local power resources (Generators, UPS systems) in order to create greater power resiliency/redundancy for all parties. Installed and Administered SUN Unix Platforms (2.6-2.9; 100+ servers).

Assessed inventory and make purchases/proposals based on deficiencies/future needs - eventually, handled all HW purchasing for the company; in excess of 2 million dollars worth of equipment. Performed all Sys-Admin duties on the Windows/Intel side of Air2Web's LAN/Platform. Participated in co-location facilities selections and negotiations.

Trained in Close Quarters Combat with Sim-munitions, Flash-bangs, and Small Arms Tactics Acted as the OPFOR to facilitate training (Similar to SWAT) exercises involving various foreign nations' Crisis Response Teams. Continuously operated in Live Fire (Flash bangs, shape charges, breach charges) exercise conditions providing negative reinforcement to the teams of students in the event that they did not apply the lessons learned the classroom to the Live Fire Exercises. Worked closely with the instructors to develop accurate threat responses for the Live Fire exercises; Instructors were all ex-special forces - Delta, SEAL, Force Recon, Green Beret / Rangers. Provided critical analysis and performance feedback to the instructors regarding the students after Live Fire Exercises.
