I am responsible for the administration and maintenance the entire network infrastructure (Novell, W2K, Linux). This includes, but is no limited to; network data security, disaster recovery, network design and implementation. I also manage all data communication including email, web site design, voice and video services. As part of this I spearheaded the installation on a voIP system to replace out existing analog PBX. Technology trend projection is also a vital part of my position. I work with faculty and staff to evaluate emerging technologies and make possible the integration of technology into administration and classroom environments. I also develop in-house hardware and software solutions to meet the needs of our students. This includes the implementation of the Linux Thin-client Services Project in an effort to recycle outdated hardware and in turn provide more access to technology in the classroom.

Station ManagerWnhs-Tv Ch 21 Jul 2005 - Jun 2012WNHS-TV is a Public, Educational, and Government (PEG) cable access station that is owned by the Village of Newcomerstown and managed by students and Newcomerstown High School. I was approached in 2005 by village council members who ask my to manage the station. In turn I worked with the village to secure access through Adelphia/Time Warner. I designed a custom system to automate video broadcasts using products supplied by Chyron and Leightronix. Along with this I designed and built simple interface converters to allow each component to work in synchronization. Consulting with faculty members to update existing video production curriculums, I have added video broadcast technologies to our class offerings. Other tasks I have performed include production studio design and training of faculty and students on video editing systems. I have implemented the us of Adobe Premier Pro with Canopus hardware to perform our video editing.
