KC Hopps owns/operates 8 full-service restaurant concepts, catering, and event spaces in the Kansas City area with annual revenues of $16,500,000 and employees over 500 full and part-time employees. As Vice President of Business and Operations, I am responsible for the training, managing, and auditing of all prime cost categories for the restaurants. In addition to overseeing all cost controls, I oversee all employee benefits, work comp, and payroll systems. ● Payroll, responsible for the weekly processing of payroll for 250 employees. This includes the training and auditing of each restaurant's payroll. ● Benefits, I oversee the benefits program for all employees along with all human resource responsibilities. This includes annual renewal of all health care packages, carriers, employee enrollment, and programming of all payroll benefit deductions● Product Management, responsible for sourcing, purchasing, inventorying, and auditing all products used by the KC Hopps restaurant group. ● Responsible for new capital improvement projects for fixed assets as well as technology upgrades to maintain a competitive market advantage.● Manage all direct vendors ranging from mainline food providers, safety/compliance.
