    Eager to start something fresh, build upon my design background, and learn more about web design and development, I accepted a new position as Web Designer for a start-up company, MarginPoint, which was located in Williamsport. During my tenure at MarginPoint, I was trained and learned to develop innovative websites for a variety of clients including layout and design as well as site development and SEO integration. As part of our integrated marketing approach, I was promoted to head the introduction of traditional agency service offerings in the spring of 2001. MarginPoint began as a web development firm and wanted to grow into a full-service agency. With my assistance, we were able to expand service offerings to include: marketing, advertising (newspaper, radio, and billboard), creative services, media placement, pre-production, and traditional printing services. In addition to my new role in business development, I served as an account representative, art director, and graphic designer. Being a part of a start-up organization gave me valuable insight into all aspects of the agency environment from accounting and sales to client relations and business development. I learned a great deal about the web, programming, SEO, sales, and everyday business operations. We were a small privately-owned company driven by a love for design and an entrepreneurial spirit. Overall, my grassroots involvement and valuable client and business experiences gave me the firsthand knowledge and inspiration that helped lay the framework for my desire to start my own agency.
