Helped The Composing Room transition from a typesetting company, to a film separator, to digital copy shop into digital printing, large format printing and portable displays. What a wild ride it was. I am extremely proud that Composing Room was one of the few companies of our kind to survive the titanic shifts in the above respective industries year after year.

I co-founded SoftLogik Inc with Deron Kazmaeir who was a brilliant programmer. We developed several products for the Atari ST and Commodore Amiga computers. Our biggest success was PageStream. It was the leading desktop publishing software for those computers. We sold over 10,000 copies world wide and received a fascinating education about business, marketing, management and finance.One of my treasured memories was from a passionate customer who wrote us a letter explaining how we changed his life. He said he bought an Atari ST, our software and a laser printer and went into business for himself. He wrote to tell us how appreciative he was that we chose the Atari ST to write such a wonderful program and that he was benefiting from our efforts every day. How cool is that!
