Together with our colleagues we improve business processes to improve efficiencies, bring in many new initiatives, and provide support to staff and physicians, so as to improve the overall health within the communities we serve.I have the good fortune to work at an organization that positively contributes to the quality of life of people. Mosaic's culture is outstanding - open and honest discussion is encouraged and valued, and there is a receptiveness among leadership and staff to change where we feel we can do things better in serving those who use our services. Given the high receptiveness to change at Mosaic and minimal bureaucracy we are quickly bringing in new and better ways of doing things to support health in the community and making Mosaic an exciting and fulfilling place to work. I am really pleased with the progress we have made during my time at Mosaic and optimistic that during the next two to three years we will complete several other organizational priorities to the benefit of all stakeholders, including the consolidation of all of our clinical operations at Sunridge Mall by the end of 2024. My team supported student recruitment and retention goals by finding ways for students to finance their education to begin and continue their education through to graduation.I really enjoyed the interaction with our students and supporting my team. The extra busy times during the beginning of each semester and me pitching in with the rest of my team to meet students and ensure student finances… Show more Reporting to the DeVry Calgary President I was responsible for a team of up to nine staff. The extra busy times during the beginning of each semester and me pitching in with the rest of my team to meet students and ensure student finances were lined-up was particularly satisfying because our students were now able to attend and pursue their academic goals.It was during my time in this role that I introduced the credit counselling and budget sessions (courtesy of Money Mentors staff) to our students, first as lunch-and-learns and later the material was incorporated in two of our required classes for all students. I was so pleased with the content and the benefit to our students that I joined the Money Mentors Board and remain on the Board to this day. Show less
