I’m a natural people person, problem solver, and creator and I help people fall in love with brands. I grew up through the lens of the first digital consumer video products (remember the Sony MiniDV?) and was blessed with great friends who were natural actors in front of the camera. Working with makeshift tools and a bootstrap budget developed my creative problem solving skills, while key mentors in my life taught me the soft skills of running your own business. My formative years were spent under the legendary Mike Drilling of Windborne Photographic Studios and Don Rutt of Fabulous Faces. A high end portrait photographer, running his studio next door to a high end commercial photographer. They pushed me in ways I never could have imagined - whirlwind events and weddings, business portraits, real estate and architectural work, commercial car and boat shoots, food product photography, building outdoor ice rinks or massive light banks for shoots...it was the experience of two lifetimes of hard working professionals, and I will forever be thankful that they chose to share their industry knowledge and life experience with me.I now work as a marketing consultant in the marine industry with expertise in content strategy & analysis, immersive web design, and product photography._______________________________I spent my formative years self-teaching Adobe design software and front end web development, and continue to find myself absorbed daily in a wide variety of subjects: full stack LEMP development, GSuite and MS365 web administration, vertical video story telling and composition for social media, and a healthy dose of interest in espresso with my HX espresso machine.I love working on my car - you can follow my maintenance and audiophile journey here: https://www.subaruforester.org/threads/tcsubies-08-n-a-sports.635978/ As the praise band director for my church, I enjoy playing a variety of instruments I've picked up over my musical career: trombone, bass, guitar, and baritone ukulele are all a joy to play. I assist with the live sound, recording, and mixing, as well as provide instrument & cable maintenance as a former guitar tech.
