    We didn't even have computers when I started!Checking and keeping driver's log books in compliance with DOT regs. True meaning = sitting with our drivers one on one with a map, ruler, calculator for hours on end making sure they were current and correct. It didn't take me long to understand why the guy who had the job before me dropped everything on my desk the 1st day and RAN! Good experience though. From there worked my way into the operation of both segments of our business. Trucking side and Brokerage side. Learning both at the same time has proven to be priceless not only in my career growth but in the ability to pass the knowledge onto new brokers.
