- Consultant for RTMS & TrakQuip application clients. Work with them to identify improvements in their business processes, isolate functionality for automation and help extract information from their databases for reporting and management purposes.- Designed and developed an interface from TrakQuip to Vertex, a 3rd party sales tax calculation service.- Partnered with Corporate Services as a 3rd party contractor.

- Maintained and enhanced the RTMS and TrakQuip applications, rental software solutions for the equipment and oilfield rental industries. Primarily accomplished with VB, XML, XSL & SQL Server.- Work with end users to help them understand their business processes and suggest areas for improvement/automation and assisted them in writing requirements for change.- Moved the company from a single layer development environment to a more standard environment consisting of Development, Testing, and Production layers. Also designed and built the bug tracking and migration tools to correspond.- Designed and developed a centralized reporting framework utilizing XML data that allowed for customer customizations to reside in config files rather than the EXE thus reducing the footprint of the app.- Designed and developed a costing tool to decrease RFM (Request for Modification) turn-around time.- Designed and developed an interface to Qualcomm's GlobalTRACS system for GPS equipped vehicles and modified TrakQUIP to react to events from that system.

- Known as UBS Warburg Energy for last year of position.- Responsible for the design, development and production rollout of mid to back-office systems support the Gas and Power trading platform, Enron Online, the #1 e-commerce site at the time.- Maintained and enhanced the Pipeline Operations (POPS) application utilizing C, ProC, Unix, Powerbuilder and Oracle.- Participated in the design and development of a web-based interface to POPS using VB, MTS, XML, XSL & ASP.- Responsible for the re-design and re-development of two(2) mission critical interfaces connecting SITARA and UNIFY from a legacy standpoint to one that made use of Visual C++, ESQL, VB, XML and COM+ to a SQL Server database. Spent weeks perfomance tuning the SQL statements and threading until interfaces could handle up to 1000 transactions per second.- Selected to be a mentor for the Global Technologist Track, a program designed for recent college graduates.

- Launched numerous complete lifecycle development initiatives on a major software application (IMARS) for the International Space Station using C, ProC & XMotif on AIX connecting to Oracle databases.- Quickly rose from a new hire to a lead position by becoming involved with other colleagues and learning their jobs.- Participated in the configuration and release management duties.- Became a source of knowledge that participated in requirement and design sessions with the end user (NASA).- Awarded Recognition in Excellence by peers.
