Supporting & maintaining legacy codebases while developing and integrating new, modern web application software to support hundreds of electric cooperatives' employees' benefits. Primarily worked as a contractor for the USDA FAS agency designing, developing, testing, configuring, & integrating web application software. Involved in the entire software development life-cycle for two new web applications, which were engineered & developed with a focus on SOLID principles using domain-driven design's onion architecture, inversion of control through dependency injection, and the generic unit of work & repository pattern. The web applications' back-ends were developed using C# with the ASP.NET Web API framework, as well as utilizing Entity Framework ORM & T-SQL for data management in Microsoft SQL Server. The front-ends were Single Page Applications built using Angular 5-7 with TypeScript.Role of Developer-Representative on the USDA FAS contract's Advisory Team to implement best practices, to help guide the team's future, & to speak on behalf of the contract team's developers. Created documentation to guide & to prepare the team for migrating applications to the cloud. Introduced coding challenges once a month to enhance coding & problem solving skills.Lead design & development of an Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) user-form to enhance data input & efficiency in the generation of a data analysis model for a short-term contract project through USDA APHIS.Member of 'Centers of Excellence' team - an internal research & development effort that explored Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS cloud technologies, continuous integration & delivery tools, & artificial intelligence solutions via prototypes.

I designed and implemented web pages that incorporated user interfaces with server-side code to assist daily operations in storing, viewing and managing data. I utilized Microsoft's Visual Studio and their ASP.NET Web Forms & MVC frameworks. I used a combination of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript/jQuery on the front-end, C# on server-side, and T-SQL and LINQ with Entity Framework to manage data in Microsoft's SQL Server Management Studio. The applications I've built are as follows:Lunch Ordering System:Developed a reliable, straight-forward, and effective ASP.NET Web Forms application to process all employees' daily and weekly lunch orders. Each employee/visitor browses the menu, selects their desired lunch, and completes the following order-form page before submitting. The administrative role/page allows for the addition and removal of lunch menu items and generates an Excel spreadsheet with all the current day's lunch orders (sent to the caterer). The caterer role/page displays a table of all employees' lunch orders for the current week, accompanied with 'Paid, Received, and Refrigerated' check boxes beside each name that indicates the status of each order. After lunch, the caterer role generates a report in an Excel spreadsheet for the day or week.Truck Log Application:Built an ASP.NET Single-Page Application with jQuery that records each truck delivery and pick-up information. Allows other departments to quickly view a date-range of truck logs in a web-page table and export a specified date range of truck log information to Excel.Sieve Log Access ODBC:Redesigned a Microsoft Access interface that uses an ODBC protocol to an eVision database to record data for each sieve log using Visual Basic -- it removed the need for data re-entry by employees.

Coordinated study sessions with fellow student tutees and provided a structured one-on-one or group session that revolved around answering students' questions by explaining the theory and application behind each problem and completing it aloud together. Courses tutored include: College Algebra, Analytical Geometry & Calculus 1, Introduction to Theoretical Mathematics, Introduction to Computer Science Programming, Discrete Mathematics 1 & 2, and Perspectives in Computer Science.
