I am the Chief Energy Officer at Protex Central, Inc., a SDM Top 100 systems integrator that specializes in clean agent fire suppression and security systems. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, I lead a six-location enterprise that provides innovative and effective solutions for some of the most challenging fire, life safety, and security system requirements for our customers.I hold the credentials of Senior Engineering Technician and Engineering Technician in Fire Protection, as well as the ATF Responsible Person Explosives Permit. I am also actively involved in the development and advancement of fire protection and security standards and practices, as a principal member of the NFPA Technical Committee on Hybrid Fire Extinguishing Systems and an industry subject-matter-expert for the Electronic Systems Association's Code and Governance committee.Additionally, I serve as a standardized patient at Des Moines University and aa subject matter expert with several subject-matter-expert networks. My mission is to share my expertise and knowledge with the industry and the community, and to support the growth and success of Protex Central and its customers.
