I possess expertise working within higher education settings as an advocate for the improvement of access and equity to higher education for African American students. My goal as an administrator and researcher has always been to broaden the perspectives around the issues affecting diversity, access, equity and inclusion in higher education among the college community. I remain committed to working across all levels of the university to build a culture where recruitment and retention are efforts shared throughout the entire academic community.
